The Mojo Road Blues Band is comprised of talented musicians well versed in blues and blues-rock traditions. These guys started as a high school garage band 30 years ago and have been livin, lovin, and playin the blues every since. Along the way each of them has ventured down other musical roads as both full and part time pros playing many musical styles along the way. But the blues have a way of bringing you back.

Jeff Newland - Harmonica, Vocals, and Keyboard. The musical soul of MRBB can just about do it all. Here is a talented musician who literally can play every instrument and style imaginable. In fact, Jeff is an extremely versatile guitarist who decided to become a virtuoso blues harp player. Mission accomplished. And if you like to hear some funky blues organ jams he has that covered as well. After years as a full-time professional in clubs he had slipped into semi-retirement from the muscial scene and was writing and recording original compositions - until the blues came calling in the form of Mojo Road.

Donn Walls - Guitar and Vocals. If you enjoy lead guitar played with emotional intensity - you will enjoy Dr. Hoodoo, the guitar medicine man with nothing but good mojo in his bag of tricks and licks. Drawing heavily from influences like Roy Buchanan, Eric Clapton, and Carlos Santana he likes to cut it loose at every possible chance and squeeze every drop of juice out of the strings. Donn will also pull out his Gibson 335 Dot and bottleneck slide when the mood is right.

Steve Mitrione - Bass guitar. As the newest member of MRBB Steve is a bassist that feels at home in nearly any musical setting you place him and the blues is no exception. A long-time veteran of the road, Steve’s bass lines are extremely fluid and he lays down grooves that combine blues, R&B, and funk influences into a style that keeps the rhythm section cooking.

Sam Walls - Drums, percussion, and vocals. "Sticks" may be the youngster in the group but he potentially could be the finest musician of the bunch. Showing a strong aptitude for music at a very early age, his parents encourage him to learn a muscial instrument like guitar, piano, or percussion -- he took them up on the offer by learning all three! This kid can play.
